Once there was a snowman...

We had our first big snow of the year in Logan today, and not that nasty slushy stuff from down south, neitha'! It was the perfect snow for a snowball fight. But Joe's limited memory was able to retain that snowball + Angela = Joe in doghouse, which is not good when you take into account that Kona eats her own poop.

And so we decided that the snow would probably be good for a snowman.

Kona kept sniffing the snowman's butt.

There's always a pack of kids running around - especially when there's fresh snow. So once we realized how cold it was and heavy the snowman was getting, we probably violated a half dozen child labor laws.

There's Angela cracking the whip.

After we put the thing together, we had a faceless snowman. It was all very zen-like without the face and all, but we decided to do the traditional thing and stab it in the head with a carrot.

Angela looks like she's wearing blue Spider Man camouflage.

One of the kids helped make eyes out of rocks and a toothy rocky grin. It was like having a frozen Brit on our front lawn.

That's one good-looking snowman.

We thought the snowman looked a little cold, so we went inside to get him gloves and a scarf. After we came out, we realized that all of our free labor escaped. No matter though -- our creation was complete!

Attention internet stalkers: 553 is not our house. Go away.

Edit: About an hour or two after we finished, I stepped outside to let the dogs out and someone had totally killed our snowman. *sniff* Terrible news, I know. We're still grieving the loss of our beloved friend we made so many memories with.

In other news, we're going to be going to California for Christmas. From the L.A. area to the Fresno area, we're gonna see it all. Or at least see everything from the L.A. area to the Fresno area. It'll be fun to visit family.
