We bought an '88 Chevy Nova awhile back that I had some skepticism about as it was nearly 20 years old and had a salvage title, but it's been a really good car. It's pretty much a carburated Toyota Corolla with a Chevrolet badge, which is probably why it runs today.
We've since put 30,000 miles on it driving around town and to and from California, and we recorded a video to commemorate its odometer reaching six figures:
