So it's been awhile since we've shown you any sweet pictures. We traded cameras with someone awhile ago, and decided that we finally ought to copy some pictures from it to the computer. With this newfangled digital technology, we figured it was probably time for an update.
One of our most recent picture posts was about our trip to the Zoo back in April. Utah has two great zoos, one of which we have already documented. But nestled in the bellybutton of Cache Valley next to the lint pile is a caged wonder of wonder so splendiferous it just might knock your socks off:
The Logan Zoo.
This guy was totally eating out of my hand. It's not really a zoo in the traditional sense where you see animals like Lions and Tigers and Bears (oh my!), and it isn't quite a petting zoo because you're not really supposed to touch any of the animals either. But they have dry animal food in a vending machine that allows you the magic of feeding ducks, fish, peacocks, or anything else that isn't behind a "don't feed me!" sign for only ten cents a pop.

What a pretty turkey.
When it's all said and done, the Logan Zoo isn't a very good zoo, but it's a nice place. I give it good prize. *ding!*
We've also been hanging out with Emil and Caroline, and that's been pretty fun. We heard a lot of verbage about Raspberry Days up at Bear Lake, and so like any other red-blooded Loganites, we hopped in our Mystery Mobile and decided to investigate!
Here we are in front of a giant wooden head.
It was pretty fun. We went to the fair and saw some stuff, and then we went to Merlin's and ate some delicious stuff. I've decided if we ever decide to name one of our kids Merlin, he or she had better be a good burger cook.
Angela's been doing some themed quilting on request of the Huz (that's me). I'm not gonna tell you exactly what she's been up to, but she's nearly halfway done already. Here's a picture below.
Itsa me, Mario!
I'm way excited. It's gonna be our pic-a-nic quilt. That's pretty much been us in a nutshell for the last something or other -- it's been fun!

Hey Angela! I found your blog on Caralee's site. I haven't talked to you in years. How's it going? Are you guys still up in Logan? What's new? Hope all is going well. Check out our site sometime jack-and-dayna.blogspot.com. We'll have to keep in touch.
Glad to know that all is well with you guys. That's an awesome picture of the peacock. I really enjoyed the Logan zoo when we visited. I like your Mario quilt. Good choice Joe. Maddie said to tell Sadie and Kona "HI". Take are and hope to you both soon.
